Integrity

Integrity is defined as the quality or state of being complete, unimpaired, of being of sound moral principles; uprightness, honesty and sincerity.

    1. We are positionally complete in Christ.
        Colossians 2:10 NLT "And you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority."

    2. We are unimpaired because we fight under the banner of and in the name of Jesus.
        Ephesians 6:12 NLT "For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms."

    3. We are a work in process of being of sound moral principles, uprightness, honesty and sincerity.
        Romans 8:29 NLT "For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them to become like His Son, so that His Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters."

*** Romans 12:2 "Don't copy the behavior and the customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is."

Integrity:

    A. Personhood.
            1. Are you the person you think you are or are you the person others think you are or are you the person that God knows you are? In other words are you real? Not perfect but real; Are you a genuine item?

            2. Are you a servant or a master type of person?
Philippians 2:7 KJV "Jesus made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men."

            3. The Apostle Paul was a servant of Christ; are you?
Romans 1:1 KJV "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an Apostle, separated unto the gospel of God.

    B. Manhood:
            1. What kind of a man are you? Are you fashioned after the world view of a man; rough, tough, macho, womanizer kind of guy; A guy who would kick butt if pressured or pushed upon?

            2. Or are you a real man, fashioned after the image of Jesus? He said, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest for your souls." In Luke 6:29, Jesus said, "If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn the other cheek. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also."

            3. A real man is fashioned after the image of Jesus.

    C. Husband-hood:
            1. Are you a husband leader or a husband ruler? Do you rule with anger and strength; lording it over your wife? Or are you a servant leader who leads with love and affection?
"And you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed His church. He gave up His life for her" Ephesians 5:25.
"And you husbands must love your wives and never treat them harshly." Colossians 3:19 NLT
" In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat her with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. If you don't treat her as you should, your prayers will not be heard." I Peter 3:7.
